About Sidmouth Science Festival

Sidmouth Science Festival fills the Regency seaside town with curiosity each autumn, showing how science, technology, engineering and maths shape everyday life. Hands-on experiments, talks, planetarium shows and family activities take place in venues around the town, led by researchers, enthusiasts and local experts.

With nearly all events free and no booking needed for most, it is designed to be open to everyone, from inquisitive children to lifelong learners. Centred on a friendly festival hub, it has become a highlight of Sidmouth's calendar and a great day out for families.
