About Teignmouth Folk Festival

Teignmouth Folk Festival is a warm, long-running celebration of folk music, song and dance in a classic Devon seaside town. Morris sides and dancers take to the streets and seafront while concerts, ceilidhs, workshops and informal sessions run across indoor and outdoor venues, creating a festival that spills out across the whole town.

Much of the entertainment on the seafront and in the open air is free, with ticketed concerts bringing well-known folk names to intimate stages. Run largely by volunteers, it has a friendly, inclusive feel that welcomes families, seasoned folkies and curious newcomers alike.
