Totnes Fringe Festival turns a town with no permanent theatre into a sprawling pop-up stage for bold, independent performance. Pubs, halls, gardens, a Norman castle and all manner of unexpected community spaces host theatre, dance, comedy, spoken word, cabaret and family shows from local, national and international artists.

Fast-growing and volunteer-run, the festival returns the lion's share of ticket income to the performers, keeping it firmly artist-first.
