Brixham Pirate Festival
About Brixham Pirate Festival
Brixham Pirate Festival fills the historic fishing port with buccaneers, sea shanties and swashbuckling fun. The harbour becomes the stage for a free family celebration, with costumed pirates of all ages, street performers, market stalls and food vendors spread along the quay and through the town's narrow streets.
With the replica Golden Hind moored in the harbour, Brixham makes a fitting home for one of the biggest pirate gatherings in the country. It is a lively, good-natured weekend run with the help of local volunteers, and a brilliant excuse to dress up and enjoy the atmosphere of this characterful corner of Torbay.
