South West Sardine Festival
About South West Sardine Festival
The South West Sardine Festival celebrates the humble British sardine on the quayside of Brixham Harbour, one of the country's great fishing ports. Long communal tables line the harbour while chefs grill sardines over charcoal, with past cooks including Matt Tebbutt, Mitch Tonks and Mark Hix.
Entry is free, with a token buying a plate of sardines with salad and a roll. Quickfire talks, live bands, a DJ, kids' entertainment and a dog-friendly zone make a full day of it by the sea.
