Clovelly Herring Festival
About Clovelly Herring Festival
Clovelly's Herring Festival celebrates the "silver darlings" that have been landed in this famous North Devon fishing village for centuries, along with today's sustainable fishing. The harbour quay fills with herring dishes, local food and craft stalls, and live music.
Maritime historian Mike Smylie brings his Kipperland exhibition of smoked kippers and bloaters, alongside net-making demonstrations and free face-painting and activities for children. Entry is included with normal Clovelly village admission.
