About Sham Fest

Sham Fest is Bideford's community charity beer festival, held at the Pollyfield Community Centre in East-the-Water. Now in its fourth year and running over three days for the first time, it pours 18 real ales from 12 brewers alongside cider, wine and a gin and rum bar.

Entry is free, with free live music through the weekend, including The Jukes on Friday and Beckon The Wyrd on Saturday. Every pint helps local good causes: past festivals have raised money for the East-the-Water Community Food Pantry, the Pollyfield Centre, the local play park, Stepping Stones Preschool and Bideford Men's Shed.
